Activities \ Team Building

Nothing breeds recognition like high profile success as reflected in team building activities. Our program culminates a total group experience by recognizing the vitality of personal contributions to effective teamwork. The focal point of our team building activities are to motivate people through the experience of success. Success is recognized and measured through developing individual talents which build winning teams. Team building programs require a high degree of challenge and commitment. The stakes are perceived as high, but the exercises are geared for success thus creating a whole new perspective on personal potential. In a matter of hours, participants experience the difference between what they think they can accomplish and what they can actually do!

Team Events

Desert Jeep Rally - Do you want to involve your group in a little friendly competition, a great deal of fun, and an opportunity to experience the Sonoran Desert? Our desert jeep rally is the answer. We will pick you up in open-air jeeps. En-route to the starting point each jeep, which represents a team, will select a captain. for their team. All team members participate and this rally is not about speed “so pay attention” everything you hear and see is important. Our jeep rally can be customized to incorporate corporate logos and clues.

Desert Scavenger Hunt - Your group will enjoy a little friendly competition, a great deal of fun, and an opportunity to experience the Sonoran Desert up close and personal! This Scavenger Hunt is a fun and exciting way to enjoy the splendor of the Sonoran desert while testing the group’s sense of direction, ability to follow clues and find hidden items in the desert. We will pick you up in open-air jeeps. Each team (jeep) will be issued trivia questions and directions for them to follow to reach the starting point of the hunt located at an off-road trailhead. Once at the trailhead our “Scavenger Hunt Referee” will issue the all important scavenger hunt list and assigned teams to the trails they will follow. Once on the trail each team member will need to work together to complete their list within an hour. Remember this is a hunt….. by jeep and on foot.

Corporate Survival - What a way to promote team work among your top executives. They will work elbow to elbow to “survive” the challenging course. There are many obstacles to overcome, and the only way to accomplish these feats is to think together, plan together, and act together!

Foot Rodeo - Your arrival is marked by hoots and hollers from your rodeo staff. Wranglers are hitched up to each posse (team) to help with the challenge of Western athletic fun, and to call foul when you don’t hold up the tradition of the West!

The Car Derby – In this event your group will experience both racing and team building activities. We offer a creative problem solving program combining unique team relay challenges along with the car derby building. Each team receives a kit of supplies all painted for their custom car. Teams develop a blue print for construction and the tools to build their own race car within a set time frame. Finally, the big race. Each team runs the course three or more times for a collective team time. Points are awarded for total time, creativity and design.

Sail For Success – Catch the wave and have fun as we have created a team event designed to Pump up the Spirit and build teamwork, unity and pride. The program is built around “Building a Boat” and racing it against the other teams. You will get wet! Teams will receive a boat kit and must design and construct a boat prior to racing it against other teams. Teams earn points in each activity based on their performance against the clock or goal in the activity, not the other teams.

Tee Pee Building – Participants will enjoy this experience where teams must construct a Tee Pee using 10’ high poles, canvas for the cover and then paint a story message around the Tee Pee. Teams are provided with poles, canvas, paints, brushes, planning form, leather, scissors and twine. Teams are judged based on the story line they have created and the chant used to tell the story of the company which is painted on the Tee Pee. Teams must create the story line with pictures identifying the past, present, and future of the team. This process allows others to share in the history of the company and most of all creates a cohesive unit in the future of the team.

Chili Cook Off – We will divide your group into teams who will attempt to create an award winning chili. Our Chef provides the main ingredients, as the teams work together to create a recipe and plan of action. Each team creates its own chant and decorates their own aprons with their team name and design for this unique and tasty event. The Chili Chant and Apron helps the team sell their creation. While the chili is cooking, the teams send members to participate in Audience Games. Awards are persented to the Best of Class, Spiciest and Most Creative “edible” Chili.

Paintball - You are on the front lines of a real battlefield. Your only chance for survival is your marksmanship with your paintball rifle and how well you work with the other team members in your squad. This is a rugged, urban guerrilla environment that lends itself to fast action and no time outs. Can you capture the other team’s flag and return to your headquarters? Will you be able to infiltrate enemy lines without being “eliminated”? The camaraderie created from relying on your buddies for your survival will transcend the battlefield to give an extra punch to that next corporate acquisition.

Low Rope Activities - Low rope activities are the core of the team building program. Teams are presented a series of challenges and obstacles in which the only way to accomplish the task is as a team with good communication and leadership.

High Rope Activities - High rope activities build on the trust and communication of the low elements and allow participants to expand their comfort zones while harnessed and attached to a belayer on the ground. The Giants ladder and High Y are two person elements while Catwalk, Vine walk King cross, Postman’s walk and the Trapeze leap and Pamper Pole is individual elements

Habitat for Humanity - Looking for that perfect team building experience, or way to impact the Tucson community? Offer you guests the opportunity to volunteer and sponsor part or all of a day working on a house that will become a home for a low income working family. No need to have previous construction experience. Habitat supervisors assist in correct procedures and safety measures.
